Key Responsibilities
- Patient Admission and Pre-Operative Assessment
- Patient Monitoring after anesthesia
- Patient Education of preoperative and post operative care
- Medication Administration
- Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the surgical team
- Emergency Response to any complications or emergencies
- Documentation to maintain accurate and detailed records
- Participation in Regulatory Compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current RN license in Colorado
Experience
- Previous experience in a pre-operative environment, recovery room, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), or critical care setting is required. ASC experience a plus
- Complete perioperative experience preferred.
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) current or within 3 months
Working Hours
This position requires a commitment of 8-12 hours per week, one OR day per week (Wednesday)
